On many tube mills, there is a requirement to provide both a lubricant for the roll tooling and a coolant for the welding process. In addition, the tube’s weld seam must be cooled prior to final sizing in order to maintain control over the tube’s dimensions. This is especially true for HF induction weld mills.

To address this need, Rafter provides tube cooling sections and complete mill coolant systems. The coolant systems can include heat and tramp oil removal as well as filtration.
